I have been playing with a cd rom and this is the first card made with it I used the design feature to create the background then chose an image i then chose a few embellishments i did use the settings on my printer to borderless print but as usual it ignored me lol

on monday i spent all morning using my Joy Trouvaille to cut out shapes in various sizes yesterday i decided to use some of them and made this the topper is from a QVC kit i had and the backing paper was in a bundle i bought last year

this card i made using a scalloped edge card i found then a piece of fancy card on top as a layer then i embossed with a cuttlebug border folder glued a flower i found in my box of embellishments then tore a piece of vellum and finished off with faux gems and a ribbon

I made this one today i embossed the card itself then cut a piece of coloured card and used a Martha Stewart punch for the fancy border then used a couple of pieces of coloured peel offs then a topper that i had handy and then a greetings sticker. I think i need to get my eyes tested as i can't seem to get things on straight anymore.

I made this by using a nestie to cut the scallop shaped card then i found i had a Cheery Lynn die so ran that through the Joy Trouvail then just put a few die cuts on as well had a bit of a wobble when putting the lady on so she is a bit drunk looking lol

i have made these cards to donate to the local hospice charity shop for them to sell for funds i have a batch of 14 at the moment so am hoping to make a few more and take down middle of next week i used some toppers from a kanban kit and the backing papers and the mats and layers were from stash i already had

i have decided its time to get myself in gear again and have made this card for the local hospice charity shop i am going to make a batch and take them down to them.

I used a scallop card i find amongst my stash and the same thing with the backing paper, i also found an pearlised aperture card which i would not have used so cut it down and ran it through my cuttlebug to emboss and then the top from a kit i bought some time ago from QVC, and as a finishing touch put the flower in the corner

i found a brass stencil this morning which i did not know i had and as the no shim mat arrived i thought i would have a play so just put a bit of backing paper and a piece of glittered paper then embossed some mirri card and this is the result

i made this to try and get my mojo back and to take my mind off of things used a digistamp image from the pamela west volume 2 cd rom ran a piece of card through the cuttlebug backing paper from a cd rom and some glitter paper i had then used an embellishment on the top of the tree and some sticky gems along the tree

this is my first attempt at using embossing paste so think i need to improve and practice a bit.

i used a robin brass stencil, the backing paper was a freebie from a magazine i then embossed the mirri card with the holly embossing folder and used a bit of dark green card to matt

this is the card i made yesterday for the hospice staff as a thank you to them for the care they gave mum whilst she was there, it was made using an image from the Thomas Kinkade cd rom from Joanna Sheen, the lace effect down the side was done using a martha Steward punch and i put some crystals on the lace part top and bottom and then i put a small die cut thank you message on the bottom. my cousin and her husband took me over this morning i also gave them a small box of chocolates

This is the thank you card I have made to send to the vets, as they were so kind and understanding when I had to have them come to the house on Monday afternoon this week to put my darling boy Peter to sleep, they sent me a condolence card and a packet of Forget Me Not seeds so felt I had to do this for them.

I used the Joanna Sheen cd rom Pamela West for the images and then just a simple mat and layering.

I have had to reluctantly with mums agreement cancel the day centre that she went to as for us it was not working out, she was finding it too much to cope with, well at 90 it was a long day she was picked up in the morning at 0845 and did not get back again until 5pm, she was the first one that was picked up in the morning and the last one off of the bus, so rather than have her suffer because of going it was best to knock it on the head now

I made a mistake and stamped the hedgehog image upside down so had a think and decided to cut the original card and make a topper with it, found an A4 piece of card and folded it in half then printed off a backing paper from a joanna sheen cd rom then cut down a piece of green mirri card and then mounted the hedgehog image onto that then I found some white gems and spread them over the card to give the appearance of snow hope you like it

I made this one this morning using a stencil from a kit i had and the same with the decoupage, the paper flowers i had bought before we moved and have just discovered them and to finish of i used some coloured gem stones to put in the centre of the flowers, this is my first attempt at paper pricking so was a bit doubtful about how it would look but was quite pleased for a first attempt

i made this one this morning using the perfectly paisley embossing folder onto a a pearlescent piece of card then i stamped the rose image onto some small pieces of card and coloured them in using sakura pens and then mounted them onto the card found a peel off which nearly matches the pearlescent card and then finished off with some butterfly stickers

FAT BOOK PAGE

This is one of the first fat book pages I made, i used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the embossing and a couple of stickers for the images

this is poppy my springer spaniel sadly no longer with me, I had to have her put to sleep earlier this year she was 14 years old which is a good age for her breed she was a lovely dog stubborn loving and scared stiff of bangs and flashes so as a gun dog she was useless she too was a rescue dog from battersea dogs home

This is Judy my first dog she was a border collie
jack russell cross and was a fantastic dog she was
so obedient that you could walk with her off of the
lead and you knew where she would be, right on
your heel when she got to a kerb she promptly
sat down and waited until told to cross the road

And this is Lady my very first yorkie, and she was typical of the breed, thought she could rule the world, very loyal and loving full of character it was because of her that I fell in love with the breed
